When I moved to Florida, one of the first places I checked out and instantly fell in love with was Winter Park. Park Avenue is pretty irresistible with the restaurants and shops, the park with flowers and towering trees providing some shade. It’s impossible not to feel like part of the community with the tables lining the streets, full of people chatting and enjoying a simple coffee or glass of wine or a multi course fine dining experience.

We were invited to a media event at Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen & Bar in Winter Park to celebrate their 3 year anniversary and we had the most epic time indulging in a seafood feast!
Owner Fred Thimm (pictured below) welcomed us to a seafood galore that included fresh raw bar oysters, chef specialties and fish camp classics.
Reel Fish opened in 2017 with the goal of serving sustainable fish and seafood from local waters and you can certainly tell by the quality and taste in all their authentic dishes they serve only the freshest seafood that you can get in the area.

Dining at The New Standard, which recently opened earlier in 2020, completely exceeded every expectation and left me wanting to return the very next day! Fountains, live music, incredible outdoor seating, fabulous dishes and drinks – this is a true Orlando treasure.
