So I have learned when I got my birds seeds aren't healthy; so I got them coloured pellets instead. Now I learned that those aren't good either and that uncoloured pellets are the way to go. I saw that a local rescue in my area just obtained a huge group of parakeets that are 3 years old, my budgie is about 5 months old. Would it be safe to get another bird that is older to put with my young one or would that be asking for aggression. Should I wait until mine is older. Hello, I'm new to the forums here, hoping to find some answers to a few questions for my grandmother, a loving parakeet owner of 6 (3 males, 3 females). Previously, she had all 6 in one parakeet habitat, but one of the older females has started fighting with the youngest female parakeet (still a baby). Andy has poop on her butt and a lot of it. It has been going on for at least two days now. Does she have dihareiah? I did see a big pile of poop in the corner of her cage that I'm going to clean out in a bit.
