Nadia and Jon found me through their planner whom I’ve worked with previously, and I’m so glad they did! They have been such a joy to get to know since they booked with me, and I know their beachside wedding is going to be incredible.   Lauren + Matt live in Marina del Rey, a quick ten-minute drive to the Venice Canals. We met up there to start their engagement session on an absolutely gorgeous (albeit slightly windy) day. After taking some shots around the canals, we headed back to their apartment to get some photos with their adorable Coton de Tulear, Leo, as well as make some s’mores at the building’s rooftop lounge.   L + A’s wedding day began with a sweet Chinese tea ceremony to honor their Taiwanese and Hongkonger families. Following the tea ceremony and a delicious Chinese lunch, we headed to South Park Center, a wedding venue located on the 30th floor of a Downtown Los Angeles skyscraper. The 360 views from this venue are absolutely incredible, and it got even better when we went up to the helipad for portraits. I had a blast getting to know Li + Angela for their wedding experience!   I met Sameera + Derek at an elopement I photographed for friends (Camellia + Harshit) during the pandemic, as Sameera is Camellia’s sweet younger sister! It’s so special when I get to have BOTH ladies from one family as brides of mine :) We did their engagement session at one of my favorite beaches in Malibu where we get to have both beach + cliff vibes.   At the time Laura + Nick booked me to photograph their wedding, they were living out in D.C., so we had to do their engagement shoot at a time they were back in the LA area… an entire year and a half before the wedding!   Molly + Chad booked me in early 2020 with plans for a late 2021 wedding. When the pandemic kept pressing on, they made the decision to push back their wedding day out of an abundance of caution, but they couldn’t WAIT to get married! They wed in a Santa Barbara Courthouse elopement with just their closest family present in July 2021.
