Our very own, Jessica Mace, has posted another article on PLATFORM titled “Community Partners in the Classroom”! In this article, she explores how experiential learning (EL) outside of a typical lecture room teaches students transferable skills that will benefit them in their future endeavours. Partnering with the Ontario Heritage Trust (OHT), Mace’s students in FAH473 actively collaborated with OHT’s staff members to understand how their class projects can have a public impact on the community.
