Next month, RBS will celebrate its 19th anniversary of ministry. Since our inception, over 150 students have successfully completed one of our training programs. We currently have 125 active students enrolled and hope to see six graduate this semester. Once again, we are grateful for your prayers and financial support. ACCREDITATION RBS is currently an affiliate of the Association of Reformed Theological Seminaries (ARTS), which is an accreditation agency. After much prayer, the Board of RBS has decided to apply for full accreditation. Lord willing, we will submit our application by August and ..read more

I came to a Reformed understanding of the faith in my late teens as my father was introduced to these truths by a local friend. By God’s providence, I was not afforded a place to hide from what the Scriptures taught through my father’s constant listening to messages on God’s sovereignty, and talking about this good news, tears streaming down his face. Over the years, I knew this to be true, but did not think about it much. But as God worked out his plans for my life, his rule became increasingly obvious to me, especially when things did not work out the way I planned them. I learned to say i ..read more

I grew up in a Christian home, but my initial feeling of a call to ministry came while attending a Voice of the Martyrs conference in 2008 with my grandparents. However, God’s providence led me on a journey I never would have expected. I was attending Trinity International University (Deerfield, IL) at the time, pursuing a degree in elementary education. In 2010 I transferred to Greenville College (Greenville, IL) in order to play football. In 2012 I graduated with a degree in secondary English education. Then, this small-town, Wisconsin-raised young man moved to Tennessee to teach high schoo ..read more

I am from Singapore. I have grown up in a Baptist church since I was very young and was baptized in 2015. I just started working full-time, and am a member of Covenant Baptist Church, Singapore. Being raised in a church environment, I did not give much thought about my salvation and the study of God’s Word. But praise be to God that He opened my eyes in 2019 through discussions with my pastor after Sunday school. Through these discussions, we discovered the doctrines of grace and the richness of the history of the Particular Baptists! I began sourcing and listening to conferences, and podca ..read more

We love Him because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19 I am 55 years old, married, and father of three adult children. Professionally, I am an engineer who designs air conditioning and refrigeration products, primarily for boats. Entering seminary late in life would not have been practical for me except at a remote institution like RBS. My classes have been great, and I’m very thankful for the privilege. By the grace of God, RBS is doing a great work that will be felt for generations to come, should the Lord tarry. For ourselves, Roselyn and I pray that God will redeem the remaining days of our ..read more

My family and I live in Pensacola FL. I was converted to Christianity at eighteen years old, and after a year felt a strong call toward vocational ministry. After some years of missions work and youth ministry, and wise counsel, I discerned a calling to pastoral ministry and planted a church in Pensacola FL in 2008. The Cross Church, the first Confessionally Reformed Baptist church in the area at the time, needed maturity. We were sent out and overseen by Grace Life Church of the Shoals, but I was only twenty four years old at the time and many of our members were young. Due to beginning to ..read more

My name is James Williams. I currently live in Worland, WY, with my beautiful bride and 3 amazing children. Since being saved in 2010, I have had an unquenchable thirst for the Gospel of Christ. More specifically, I have had a desire to see the people of God grow in their faith and in their relationship with Him. I have served in many roles in the church: sound, tech, preaching, small group leading, worship, and most other areas that can be thought of. The one thing that I have noticed, no matter what area I serve in, is that the people of God need to be pushed, challenged, and taught to love ..read more

This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. The LORD'S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Thy faithfulness. "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I have hope in Him." The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the person who seeks Him. Lam 3:21–25 I am forever grateful to the Lord our God for using Reformed Baptist Seminary to teach truth. I was born into a Roman Catholic home in the state of Rhode Island. We were familiar with the name, “Jesus,” but never studied the Word of God. After many trials ..read more

I am a late bloomer in the Reformed doctrinal perspective. I was raised in the moralistic teaching and the false gospel of baptismal regeneration of the Church of Christ. After becoming disillusioned by my continual struggle with sin, I began to look at other “Christian teachings” in an attempt to improve myself. I looked at ideas from Unity Village, prosperity teachers, the charismatic movement, and Bill Gothard’s Basic Life Principles. I finally settled into a strict fundamentalist/legalistic church. During that period of my life, the Lord saved me at age 30. Through the Scriptures, my fami ..read more

Ever since the Lord saved me in 2012 when I was 15, I have been desirous to know the Word of God. I grew up in predominately Independent Fundamentalist Baptist churches. After I went to a Bible college for a short time, met my wife (whose Canadian), and moved to Canada, I started studying at RBS. It was definitely challenging for me and made me grow up in many (I was quite immature when I started). Through the classes, I have come to a better understanding of who God is and what is entailed to be in ministry. I have been able to apply what I have learned from RBS in my ministry to my wife and ..read more
