Rabbi’s Reflections – Thursday, November 10, 2022 Shalom, They’ve issued hurricane warnings for Tropical Storm Nicole for Central Florida.  Jan and I were supposed to fly out of Sanford, Florida on Thursday morning, but decided to drive home on Wednesday instead.  We prayed and felt like driving would be better than hoping our flight won’t be cancelled by the weather.  If the flight cancelled, and since Allegiant only has one flight per day to Knoxville, who knows when we would get rebooked.  So drive we must. John 17:19 “And for their sakes I make Myself holy, so that they also may be made holy in truth.” Now Yeshua’s prayer turns to holiness.  Holiness is an interesting commodity.  It can be challenging to our intellect.  No one ever went to the store for a pound of holiness.  The Hebrew word for “holy” is “Kadosh.”  It means “separate or set apart.”  It reminds me of the phrase “called out ones.” We have been called out of darkness.
