Hello everyone, I'm pretty new to this sub but I got pretty hooked on seeing all of you're creations and I had to dive in myself. So I bought this saw from Amazon and it arrived today with some damage. It is mostly to one of the legs but there is a small crack on the base of it. My biggest concern is the vibration of the machine making the crack worse. If anyone gas any advice it is greatly appreciated!

Bought an oak bookshelf for $20 and cut the shelf off to sacrifice for my map. I will install a piece of plywood in its place. I didn’t like height anyway. Sometimes the project requires resourcefulness .
