Did someone check the carbon monoxide monitor in Avery Brooks' room?
Maybe Brooks is just...like that...but these scenes were out there. Shatner is always a little wacky but the two of them together were just bizarre. And they didn't even talk about Sisko or DS9 or Star Trek.

...why did Starfleet order Kirk to go on the Enterprise-A? Admiral Bob specifically says there are "other ships, but no experienced commanders". Why didn't they just transfer Kirk and the senior staff to a working ship? I mean, Excelsior was right there.
The Doylist answer, of course, is that the movie needs Kirk and crew on the Enterprise, but why make it so crippled at the beginning in the script?

I love this one. The court scene at the end with Kirk and the Scene with Mark and Leonard. This one touches all the Trek buttons.

I just saw the episode where a bunch of characters get turned into kids and it somehow got me thinking of Wesley. Then Alexander popped on screen and I’m like “did they ever meet?” So here I am asking Reddit

Was rewatching some TNG and goofisode 6:18 Starship Mine called to me.
While I could get caught up on many things(CROSSBOW PICARD, swiss cheese die hard plot) what most jumped out to me was how well a middle manager like Calvin Hutchinson would do in a Lower Decks episode until I was reminded that he died defending his banquet, RIP.

In the last season of Discovery, the fate of Ruon Tarka (and his reunion with Oros) seemed uncertain. I was wondering if this would be resolved in some way in a later season — but with Disco getting canceled and them having to make this there last season, do you think we will ever get answers? Curious to know what you all think.

Here are mine: 1. The Doctor 2. Commander Chakotay 3. Neelix
The Doctor was an interesting character, Chakotay seemed kind, and Neelix is Neelix

There are several instances in STTNG of people being thrown through glass tables. If they had the technology for transparent aluminum, why not make the tables out of that, instead of a material that will drive shards into your heart when you tusstle with a Ferengi?

I just discovered the Sons of Star Trek comicbook miniseries yesterday. I haven't read any modern Star Trek comics before though. Could I pick up and follow the story well enough with only knowledge of the characters from the shows?

I just finished the binge watching sessions of the series, and have always ranked it in one of if not the highest standing of the franchise. but i always seem that it was looked down upon in comparison to the others, i assume due to the lack of treks.
but i always loved it for the themes and serialized aspect and the more serious political style, and for me it always kept me hooked from the continuous arch opposed to one off stories which could risk being a bad episode, but ds9 always had a relation to the story.
im watching voyager now and it doesn't scratch the same itch just yet on early s ..read more
