The legal pad. Not yellowed by age. This has got to be huge Checkov Gun situation. It’s not random and has to mean something just trying to figure what. Figuring he must have some time travel tech even though it’s prohibited. Thoughts?

I was a big fan of Star Trek back in the days of TNG, DS9, and STV. Watched all episodes multiple times, and read very book I could get my hands on.
I quite like SNW. It's more my kind of Star Trek.
I ground my way through season 1. Season 2 had its moments, but was mostly about getting where they had to go.
Season 3(?) started brilliantly, was mostly great, then took a nosedive right about the time they discovered that the Galaxy-Devastating "Burn" was some kid in a Nebula having a tantrum.
Not sure what happened after that TBH. I may have watched some more... I wasn't even sure of the curre ..read more

Star Date 3197, the year of our Lord Jesus Christ and Savior. The Discovery has somehow traveled outside the mushroom network, and as a result, it is outside the space-time continuum, in a zone called tormented space.
Burnham and Booker are somehow at the disco nightclub talking about their feelings, about how they have to get back together, and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, somebody hits a jukebox from the 1960s and the song by Peaches and Herb comes on, which is "Reunited," and it feels so good.
Rainer, who has the comm at that moment in time, has just answered a distress call from Plane ..read more

Just watched season 5 episode 6 Whistlespeak and wonder how Culber's grandmother had access to a replicator?
My theory, their AI did in fact have a flaw and Hugh missed it, the universe had replicators for a millennia and are as common place as Kovich's 21st century legal pad is today. ??

Excellent as Emperor Georgiou and Prime Phillipa. She had a great run on the show and definitely added a cool dynamic to Discovery’s crew. I’m thinking Michael is definitely going to have to go through a lot of growth without her partner in crime to go in illicit missions with. Her exit and the two Tera Firma episodes were also way better that I was expecting going into them. Peace out Phillipa.
Anyone know the IRL reason she left? Or was it just that the writers were done with her character arc?

If the bottle had a single scratch mark, Burnham, Tilly and Paul would have easily given it some thought and our Xenoanthropologist captain would have immediately associated to a language.
Boom, now all we need to know is what the scratch means. If the Halemno language is in the database, now they know it's number 5 for the fifth tower. If not, just ask a local.
Problem solved, and the holy prime directive is saved once again.
They now analyse the temple and Cerritos is called to save the locals from sacrificing themselves.
