Over the last few months I have been working my way through TNG on Amazon (with Paramount+ subscription). All good and really think TNG holds up well given it was the beneficiary of a major remastering for the Blu-ray release some years ago. Notwithstanding that Amazon couldn't seem to ever get to grips with the 'Skip Title Sequence' feature, all was tolerable. However, I have now moved onto DS9 and the quality via Amazon is appalling. I grew up watching TNG (and then all other series) with my parents. Being in the UK, I had to wait each month for the VHS releases to come out which mum and dad would duly purchase and we'd watch together. Star Trek was 'our thing' and is one of the defining moments of my childhood and our relationship. I'm now 39, happily married with a career and blessed life.
