Another whirlwind few weeks.   Jimmy was home on spring break and worked his tail off with law school wait list final details, homework, prep for Teach for America interviews and writing a paper for the Naval Academy conference in 2 weeks. We made all his favorite food and he saw all his friends plus went to church for al Easter prep/services.  Played drums and guitar, cuddled with the dogs and kept us company.  Honestly, for a fairly non eventful month, it flew by! Lots of change in the Loudamerican household! Tracy ... Spent a TON of time onboarding my replacement, Danielle, and the new VP, Tina. I kept visualizing how I wanted to end my time at MORA and had a 2 visions, one of a marathon runner at the finish line, arms up and victorious.  A few holiday clean up updates Grandma and grandpa loved their Xmas gooders including the custom tiny ornament with photos of all the kids but mostly the brick at Lambeau - grandpa said he’s going to have his ashes scattered there The Vikings neglected to win even a single game and Jimmy is now refusing to attend a Wi law school.  It was a low key and delightful Christmas but I was so bummed my parents had to cancel their trip  My mom tripped and fell at Xmas eve service and they were at at the ER for 2 hours .. I consider that a Xmas miracle!  fracture at the top of the ball of the shoulder plus maybe a rotor cuff pull at the back near the shoulder blade. Good news - it is not as bad as they feared- no surgery needed on the shoulder. However, it meant they had to cancel their trip since she now needs to see an orthopedic this week ????  It’s been crazy! Haven’t even got to watch and Christmas movies but are juggling fun, work and all things life. I flew down to St Louis for the day to surprise Nikki - she’s going thru a clinical trial for leukemia and I haven’t seen her (in person) since may. I surprised her and it was super fun to just hang out with her, her mom and the 4 dogs and 7 cats. Jimmy and Billy had finals.  Wow, it seems like yesterday that Ben and John C got Jimmy hooked on all things football. Vikings, Hopkins, North York, VMI, Kyle Rudolf, Captain Kurt, the Passtronaut...he's not only a fan, he's an expert and athlete. This weekend was senior weekend at VMI and his very last game. Ever. Tom and Sue did a great job holding it together and Jimmy was such a great teammate, brother and friend. VMI beat Western Carolina, which was amazing in an of itself.  Sort of a quiet and yet busy start to the month, definitely hard to keep up with our all friends and family and their adventures!  Meet Zoe! Wendy's new dog, she's super sweet and turns out she was 6 months old when Wendy got her, not 4 months like the rescue said.  My good man and grandma went to Jimmy's away game at Furman. They lost big time but we were jealous they got to give Jimmy a hug and hang out with his friends parents .  Tom had the best pheasant hunting day ever.  Oh … and U of M parents weekend. Got to hang with Billy, meet some of his friends and a really nice expat family that we hit it off with (Direns parents) plus had Korean corn dogs - yum!! It’s always awesome to see Sue, enjoy Green Bay and he at Lambeau. Yes, we are still married and no, neither of us is happy with how the game ended (Packers lost and Kurt Cousins is out gif the season with a torn Achilles) We had the traditional pasta and meatballs (Sue’s favorite) and Sammy’s.
