1998 VZ800 Marauder Hesitation/Misfire/Stumbling at High Speed

Hello everyone, and thank you for maintaining such a great forum! I'm hoping for a little advice and maybe I can give some one day myself. I have a '98 Marauder, owned it for a couple years. I've found that from about 80% - 100% throttle (so basically wide open) it hesitates and stumbles, almost sputtering/misfiring. Below 80% throttle it's perfect. In neutral if you rev the bike hard and let off the throttle you get a puff of black smoke. While idling the bike seems to run rich and... 1998 VZ800 Marauder Hesitation/Misfire/Stumbling at High Speed ..read more

GSX650F K9 Fuel Tank

Hi.... My bike has been laid up for a few years whilst going through divorce. Now that's finally over I'm wanting to get the old girl back on the road & start living my best life. However, I forgot to drain her down so the fuel tank has corroded & needs replacing. I'm struggling to find a replacement and have been told that the bike is basically a faired bandit and could use a tank off one as a direct replacement (paint job issues I know). Anyone know if that's correct or another way I can... GSX650F K9 Fuel Tank ..read more

Trying to choose between Suzuki GSX 750 Inazuma (around '00–'01) and Bandit 650 ('04–'07)

Hi everyone, This is my first post here, so i'm glad i joined in. I want to buy a new bike (Yamaha XJ 600N right now). I'm a fan of classic retro looks on a naked bike with a round lamp. I was pretty much settled for Inazuma 750, but just as i was about to check one out i started having doubts mainly about spare parts access. Could you give me some advice and your insight? My opinion: Like the looks of Inazuma better - simply beautiful bike, Bandit i can live with but it's not... Aftermarket Radio keeps popping fuse

I have a 2002 Suzuki 1500 Intruder. I bought and added a "gohawk brand" amp/radio. At first, I did as the instructions directed and wired it direct to the battery. I kept coming to a dead battery and I called gohawk and they told me disregard the manual instrutions, that I need to wire it to the ignition as wiring direct to the battery will have a constant draw even when the bike is turned off. I sent the bike to a shop. The guy wired it to the bike's accessory fuse and grounded to the... Aftermarket Radio keeps popping fuse ..read more

1988 Suzuki GN250 - Front Brake Caliper

I have a 1988 Suzuki GN250 whose front brake is ultra touchy. To the point where it brakes relatively hard if you barely touch it. The bike as a whole is only in 'fair' condition, and I use it for daily going to work. Really only a few miles a day. It drove/rode perfect for two years until this past November. No damage or accidents or anything that would've caused this to my knowledge. I did open up the bleeder valve on it, and the brake fluid seems a bit rusty. I researched what it... 1988 Suzuki GN250 - Front Brake Caliper ..read more
