After mowing couple of hours little over week ago I had a no start from the key switch issue and had to take out a multi-tester & the WSM in order to troubleshoot - here's what I found out: Since I was able to start the engine with a jumper wire from the starter solenoid, I decided to check the key starter (main) switch next and just follow the procedure in the WSM, but all steps checked out fine and the switch was fine. I just bought this Kubota T2290 (used) at the end of last year. It had less than 50 hours on it when i got it. Over the Winter my grandson took off the deck for me and put on a snow blower attachment (that I also bought, although I wish I hadn't now). He has since taken off the snow blower and put the deck back on. I'm 65 and not as mechanically inclined as I wish I was. trying to recommission an F3060 2 areas of concern. F/R Pedal, doesn't feel like it centers properly, there's a bit of jerk moving from F/R manually, doesn't quite return to neutral no pedal one must tap to disengage hydro/complete neutral. Seems like one must depress pedal too far fwd to before motion. Is that linkage adj? Second, rear wheels what is acceptable motion/hands on moving wheel side to side i get a tiny amount hands up/down quite a bit side to side. Thanks ..read more

Hi Guys, New here and after a hand on mower choices. I live in New South Wales, Australia, on a 10-acre block. We mow a 2-acre well-watered lawn that extends onto a steep river bank as well as around 6 acre of paddock. The 6 acre paddock is open and flat apart from some drains at the front. I am using an aged Toro 4000d (10'6 Deck) for the paddock and a Toro GM360 with a 72in deck for the lawn and river bank. Both machines are getting up there in hours, and with no local dealer... Have a deal on selling the ZD-331 72” deck. ZD-1211-72” deck is going to be the replacement. Seems like the right price, 0% for 60 months no brainer, and the Kubota quality is still there. Dealers everywhere. I have an excellent Kubota selling/servicing dealer. Just still a bit skidderish on the drop off in power (31 to 25). Starting a new thread for my new mower, a 2021 Kubota ZD1211 60" side discharge mower. It had 95 hours when I bought it. I'll share my experience here amd contrast to other machines I have or have used. My only modification I have planned so far is to add seat isolators. The ones I bought are found on Exmark mowers (and maybe others I'm not familiar with). I mowed/scalped the front yard tonight. Can anyone provide a summary of changes to the ZD line of Kubota mowers from 2013ish on? I've narrowed my search down to a 60" ZD1211, ZD326, or ZD331. My understanding is that the deck changed when the 1211 and 1511 replaced previous versions, as well as better suspension seats and low profile rear tires.
