ok guys i screwed up .......... put a new carb on and then figured out had a wire grounding out on steering column blowing fuses anyway thats all fixed but in the process of replacing carb i loosened the governor clamp and choke cable, got the choke cable hooked back up but need to know how to set governor right cause right now my throttle is stuck wide open and the only way to make throttle go down is to manually hold it i can manually move governor lever and throttle will go down but... help with governor and linkage on craftsman riding mower kohler 25hp ..read more

Hi All, I would love to have extra circuits to control the rock shaft independently as well as a 3rd function on my loader like a grapple. I am considering adding an aftermarket 2 spool control valve. I am debating if I plumb it to run the loader, and leave the factory valves to control the rock shaft and the third function. So my deck on my john deere l111 broke at a support bracket. Now I have a scotts s2554 sitting with a good deck on it but a bad transmission. Hi on my Westwood V20/50 that stopped moving yesterday after making a horrendous noise from the transmission. I've removed the gearbox and discovered the drive pulley has stripped its splines which will explain the noise I suppose. My concern is, is the pulley splines an isolated issue is is it the result of an internal problem? I purchased a used Troy/Bilt, model 13wx79kt211. I think it is a 2003 model. I found the model on their website but when I looked to download the manual, there were about ten (10) manuals listed with no way to identify the specific model even using the serial number and the model number. All the manuals show four pulleys, but mine has five, including the one that goes up to the transmission/engine. The support person was no help as she had no clue how to route the belt. I have a 1986 John Deere 180 I have replaced the igniter, and the ignition coil. I have good compression, it pulls air, and it is getting gas. When I hook up an inline spark tester it says it has spark (I had to switch out a ngk for a autolite one b/c it didn't spark as great on ngk). When I take out the spark plug and hold it to ground there is no spark, so could it be the spark plug? Is there a specified torque for this bolt. Searched here and Google and cannot find it. Removed the plug and found that there is a rubber seal that fits in a circular groove on the plug flange.. Never seen that before. Another issue I ran into is there is a rod with offsets on each end, next to the head of the filter which makes it impossible to get a strap wrench or end cap wrench on the filter, and the rod has keeper flanges that prevent removal to access the filter.
