so me and my friends are doing a competition where between two decided teams, we try and build the fastest straight liner kart from old facebook marketplace golf/go kart chassis to ridable lawnmowers and other things of similar caliber, the rules are very loose, the only ones being, 1: you cant have something that is road legal, or just some sort of car 2: it must have 4 or more wheels and 3: you need to buy the chassis for $800 or under. further mods to the kart can be as extensive as you please. my original thought was to buy an old roller with a decent looking suspension system and slap a ..read more

The thing is that when I watch the lo206, the karts seem almost always flat out and don’t seem to require any braking or skill compared to the rotax.
