I picked up an old snowblower on the side of the road. The motor has compression and I am waiting on a new carb. When I was tearing into it to figure out what was seized in the driveline I noticed that it has two shafts coming out of the motor. One spinning clockwise and the other counter clockwise. Assuming their is a geared inside it.
Has anyone used this to run reverse? Or multiple speeds?

I am building a go kart and I'm wondering if a stock 301cc predator engine with a 40 series torque converter will be faster or slower than a stage one tilotson 212cc engine with a 40 series torque converter.

Picked this up last week for $450. I believe it's an older hammerhead gts 150. Runs good but needs the reverse cable attached, the cvt times (only goes ~15 or 20mph) and the rear calipers seems seized.

Hey guys I’m New to this group but was wondering if I could use this motor or need to make some changes look like the shaft isn’t long enough to put a clutch on but if there is a clutch please let me know one that would fit it your advice

Engine seems to bog down at full throttle and make a knocking sound. This is after I shortened the throttle cable a little and enlarged the carb jet and cleaned the carb.
