I recently purchased a Cub Cadet Zero turn mower from the dealer last spring. It was a new mower previous years stock carry over. I only put on about 10 or 15 engine hours on it last year. It has the24 H.P. Kawasaki FR 730V Engine. When I was at the dealer it wouldn't start & the battery had gone dead over the past winter with temps down to - 40. I asked this question on the onlycubcadets forum but I thought I'd check here too. There is fuel leaking around the circled part which I think is the fuel level sensor. How would I fix this. We have been watching for a cheap diesel for my wife to use at shows and plow days alongside my 782D. Found this one in southern Indiana, old ratty 1512 Diesel. She runs with the fuel line into a can of fresh diesel(I drove it on the trailer). Missing the side panels but came with cast IH weights and good bar tires. I've been using 15-40 motor oil in my 2544 transaxle for about 5 years now and it's working good. (Just to save money from having to use the expensive CC oil.) I've replaced the starter, the solenoid, PTO switch, PTO clutch, ignition switch, both fuses, the relay, and the brake switch. Now the solenoid just goes click-click-click, the engine will not turn over nor start. Any ideas? Thx ..read more

Have replaced the PTO switch, both 5A and 25A fuses, the relay (whatever it does), the clutch, with pulley, have it all back together. Try to crank it, and the red lights indicate OK on the dash, I can hear the clutch clicking in and out, ...... nothing. Will not turn over, no sound at all. Any ideas ..read more

I think one of my 25A fuses is blown. I've located two fuses taped together above the battery, a 5A and a 25A. There's another 25A hidden someplace, I expect it is blown. Any hints where Cub Cadet might have hidden it?? ThNKAS ..read more
