I have a Cub Cadet M60 Tank, which use to run great. Now when mowing both tall and short grass the RPM's drop when engaging deck. It happens very randomly. Sometimes I can mow for hours before it happens other times as soon as I start mowing. Other times not at all. The RPM's just drop off, the deck is still engaged and blades are spinning but it has no power. Wont climb a hill, even after disengaging blades. Just got a super LT1554. Runs around the yard just fine but when you engage the deck there's major power draw down. If you try engaging while stopped it'll die but if you do it while driving it'll stay running and cut fine. Been doing some reading and before reading originally thought it was a clutch issue but that was before I knew you could engage in drive (I knew it had issues before receiving). Hello, I have an XT1 Enduro LT46 with the Kohler 23hp engine that I bought from Tractor Supply a year ago. It's worked great so far, I mow about an acre, and plow my driveway with it, an 8th of a mile with a 250 foot rise in elevation, so it really got a workout this past winter here in Vermont. Hi All. I recently acquired a Cub Cadet 2550 and repaired a significant oil leak on the engine. Had used it to mow a few times and tans operated normally. I checked the tans oil level and it was full but awfly dirty so I changed filter and replenished with Oriellys 5/40 synthetic and now absolutely no response with the hydro pedals. Alright so I kinda screwed myself over and I’m hoping someone on here can help. Got this cub from my uncle and I’ve been using it for a little while now. The deck belt broke so I put a new on one and for some stupid reason I decided to unplug the back part of the ignition assembly where you can select regular mow or reverse mow with the button because it kept shutting off when I would go in reverse.
