Hi together, I've got a RTX3080. The monitor I'm using is Samsungs C49RG94SSU. The monitor supports a resolution of 5120x1440p with 120hz. Right now within the NVIDIA control panel the settings for "5120x1440 (nativ)" can only be changed between 30hz & 60hz, because the monitor settings are set to 60hz. When I change the monitor settings from 60hz to 120hz, the option for "5120x1440 (nativ)" within the NVIDIA control panel dissapears completly and I can only select 3840x1440p with 120hz... Hello everyone, I got a3090 FE from a friend and first thing I wanted to do is clean it, change the thermal paste and pads to Gelid Extreme thermal paste and Gelid Extreme 1.5mm thermal pads. I do believe I have higher GPU temps that I should because the temps and fan speed are higher that what I read on reviews online. I assume the GPU temp should be around 65 and hot spot should be around 15C higher but also fan speed should be a bit lower by~ 200rpm. I am not sure if putting too much... If I have a 4070 fe, and nvflashk to any other official 4070 like the strix or some of the other higher power limit ones, is that safe? idk where I read that flashing either to or from fe cards is not recommended? I have a FE edition ready for pickup at Bestbuy. I was also able to get an open box satisfactory condition Gigabyte Gaming OC for $1350. The gigabyte has some coil whine under full load. I also have another Gigabyte Gaming OC excellent condition delivering tomorrow which I bought for $1440.
