I'm confused. My 197Cub Cadet 1200 will not roll. I removed the top trans cover and can see noting obviously wrong. Everything looks ok behind the back cover also. Even in neutral when I tow it the rear wheels try to turn in opposite directions. The brake actuator lever on the front of the trans moves some. Enough, as it should? I don't know. Hello everyone! I have a Cub Cadet 1650 that has a strange Hydro problem. I can not get the transmission to stop or creep! I mow at full throttle (as I should haha) and if I need to go around a swing set or something that requires decorous driving the tractor will not crawl. Spent a lot of time on my Cub 149 w/fel. We had to unload 12 yards of enriched soil and spread it around our extended front flower garden. The loader made everything much easier. It took us about 8 hrs to spread and level out the soil. We needed the extra soil so we didn't have to fight the sycamore tree roots when putting in the new plants. While the engine runs, the RPMs drops and the throttle lever backs down. I can keep my hand on the lever to add pressure, which keep it in place. I can't do this when using the tractor without sacrificing other fun tions. Is there a way to adjust the lever to get it to stay in place ..read more

The last time I used my 126, the clutch teaser spring broke. When I would step on the clutch to stop, it wouldn’t stop. This was about 2-3 years ago. Last July I decided it was time to fix it, so I ordered a clutch rebuild kit and tore it apart. I should have followed the manual and pulled the motor out, but I took the rear end out instead. I was just given a 1972 Cub Cadet 128 that needs some reassembly. The engine is out and all of the shrouding is removed, along with the starter/generator, points, and cover, exhaust, etc. It seems that I was given everything including the hardware. The mule drive is also removed from the tractor in one large assembly. Hello I have a Cub Cadet 1650. Hydro works well and did last year with no issue. I pulled it out after sitting to do some work to it and the hydro relief valve on the top is pumping fluid out the top through the pinhole. There are two valves. One is a button and the other has a small pinhole. The one that is leaking has the small pinhole on the top.
