The Washington Commanders improved to 4-1 with Sunday’s 34-13 win over the Cleveland Browns from Northwest Stadium.
Things didn’t start smoothly for Washington and quarterback Jayden Daniels. The Commanders’ first possession ended with a punt, and the second one ended inside the Cleveland 10-yard line when Daniels was intercepted for the second time this season.
Once the Commanders scored their first touchdown late in the first quarter, they never looked back. Washington added three more scores in the second quarter to take a 24-3 halftime lead.

The Washington Commanders are 4-1, winners of four consecutive games after Sunday’s 34-13 beating of the Cleveland Browns.
Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels completed 14 of 25 passes for 238 yards with a touchdown and interception. Daniels also led the Commanders with 82 rushing yards on 11 attempts. Daniels had only 19 incompletions on the season coming into Sunday’s game against Cleveland. Outside of one red-zone throw he’d love to have back, Daniels was excellent again.
