Wanted to see what the word is on using Tmo Home Internet for the average console player. Are speeds good ? Can you connect to lobbies no problem ? How are NAT Types and do they restrict you from gaming? I was on the home internet but gave it back at the beginning of the year might get it back but id like to hear the community !

Got mine in the mail and have it working as well as the Sagecom was working.
In the house I get this:
RSRP -106
RSRQ -13
SINR 2
78.7 Down 1.35 Up
In the garage I get this:
RSRP -103
RSRQ -14
SINR 1
82.56 Down, 1.70 Up
With the minimal improvements I'm tempted to bring it back inside where I can watch it's lights and am back in HVAC controlled space.
1) Test-ipv6 is unhappy. What did I miss? IPV6 is toggled on, DHCPv6
2) How do I set up and use band aggregation? Would that help speeds (especially upload)?
3) It might be antenna time. What do you guys like? I think I'm between 2 and 3 miles a ..read more

I'm using my TMHI Gateway (Sagemcom) in my RV in a cell signal black hole.
It works, but generally has a "weak" signal, "good" on a good day.
I have toyed with opening it up and adding a 4x4 MIMO external antenna, but thought of this...
I have a cell phone signal booster that I had used previously in another location.
If I put THAT up, in theory the Gateway would pick up the improved/boosted signal, right?
Tell me if my thinking is wrong on this and why...

Looks like it's my time to ditch tmobile.
They "improved" TMobile services in Las Vegas yet my service apparently didn't get the memo.... 2 weeks before F1 TMobile started promoting ads on X/Twitter talking about having the best performance in my area. My speeds went from 140Mb+ to maybe 60 with up to 90% packet loss. Their help department is claiming it is normal yet their website states packet loss wouldn't be an issue.
Anyone in the Vegas area have suggestions for a new provider, I'm done with this

I’ve been super happy with TMHI and especially the price ($25/mo HINT 2022 promo) but it’s been slooooowly going down, 1-2 Mbps a week every week, starting between 350 - 500 Mbps.
Over the last 24 hours, we’re now down to 20 Mbps. One TV at a time. No games at all. No updates.
I assume this is the end of the road for TMHI? Or is there anything I can try? I’ve had the gateway in the same spot for a year. Rebooting 100 times over the year hasn’t helped. Last thing I want is to go back to Cox, but I have to work during the day and entertain the kids at night.
Thanks friends!

I currently have tmobileisp and am very happy. I'm about 800 ft from a tower in a semi-rural area so I'm drinking from a fire hose. I have the $25/month for life price that I do not want to give up.
I need to temporarily (up to a year) move to a rental home while my house is being repaired.
Looking up the new address, t-mobile says home internet is not available although there seems to be sufficient signal there.
2 questions:
When an address shows T-mobile home internet is not available, is that because of poor signal or because of territorial rights with another provider?
If the address show ..read more

I’m thinking about adding a 3rd TMHI if a good promo comes out. I have searched and saw many people saying 2 was the limit but want to see if there are others out there with 3 TMHI that all have promo pricing.

We've had TMHI for about 3 months and it started really great, but now we seem to be having issues.
We are about a mile from our tower and every day we are struggling to even get about 40 mbs download and the upload is abysmal. Most of the time it's sub 1.
It will go out during the middle of the day while my wife is home and she can't even use the internet at all. We've contacted tech support multiple times. We've been sent a new gateway and our next reccomended fix is to replace the SIM card.
Has anyone else had this issue? Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

My desktop computer could not download Widevine for Firefox. It only worked when I connected to a VPN. I changed my DNS and switched between T-Mobile Home Internet to using my cell phone as a hotspot, with the same result. I needed to use a VPN.
Another example... On my mobile phone, Google Play Store, for example, cannot download any app unless I am using a VPN. It does not matter what VPN, so long as I use one. It does not matter if I am using the Wi-Fi or connecting to 5G.
There are many products and services, that do not connect without a VPN. Changing my IP, DNS, or moving between T-Mobi ..read more
