In this week's episode, we explored a unique abandoned mansion with an incredible backstory! In the late 1800s, a rich family built this mansion on a huge domain but in 1914 the German troops took possession of this mansion and built their first bunker under the mansion. After 1918 the mansion was owned by a rich banker from the coast side till the 70s were a doctor re-bought this mansion and lived inside it till 79. In this new blog post for today, we visited a very unique little house where once lived a man and his wife who had a very great passion for art and paintings and completely transformed their house into a fairytale house with caves, dwarves, and beautiful wall paintings and much more! The house wasn't really big but it did have 3 bedrooms, a fairly large kitchen and a living room where there were 2 more seats, a TV cabinet with a TV on it and an electric piano with a very special kind of wine bottle converted into a fairy tale bottle. In this new blog post for today,  we explored this abandoned house that has been languishing among the bushes for years. Outside, you could already smell the garbage and rotten food present in the house. Probably work of squatters or people who dumped their waste there for convenience. Everything from furniture was still there and never have I seen so many religious statues all standing together and even hanging on the wall in one room. I couldn't believe my eyes! We return to the year 2016, where I started my youtube channel exploring and photographing abandoned buildings in Europe mainly: Belgium, France & Germany. Deep in the French countryside we found a beautiful abandoned cozy cottage where time has stood still. Getting in was very easy as the back door was just open but once inside you stood there with open mouth from amazement. It is as if the former owners of this house could come back any minute. Everything you see is antique and in very good condition. There is no vandalism, only natural decay.
