Hey friends. I am linking up today with Patty and Holly for monthly musing. This months theme is All Things Spring.
1- Favorite thing about spring?
Warmer weather, hearing the birds chirp, the deer are back more often and longer days.
2- What are your spring traditions?
From yard work, to eating outside whenever possible, spring cleaning, more time outside. Everything weather pertaining.
3- Favorite spring outfits?
Flip flops and spring dresses

Spring Salad
Ingredients: make as much or as little as your heart desires.
Artisan lettuce
cucumber
cherry tomato
black beans
corn
hard boiled egg
diced chicken
honey mustard dressing (I used Walden Farms or you can make your own here)
Directions:
Cut up all ingredients
Drizzle with honey mustard dressing
Serve
Enjoy!!!

Hey friends. Happy What's Up Wednesday. How is it already the last Wednesday of the month. Easter, Spring Break, and the crazy eclipse day is over which seemed to take forever to get here. Now we are counting down the days until the end of the school year. It is hard to believe that we have a little over a month, less than 30 days of school left. When do your kids get out?

Strawberry Walnut Salad
Ingredients:- make as much or as little as your heart desires.
romaine lettuce
cherry tomatoes
strawberry
walnuts
pepper
mushroom
homemade buttermilk ranch
Directions:
Cut up all ingredients
Drizzle with ranch dressing
Serve

Buttermilk Ranch
Ingredients:
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup mayo
1/4 tsp mayo
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp parsley flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp dill
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a bowl.
Whisk together.
Transfer to a mason jar.
Let sit in fridge overnight.
Serve

Hey friends. Happy Monday. How was your weekend? We have a somewhat lowkey, but busy weekend. I was very present and didn't take many photos at all.

Friday after school was Taylor filled with music. My oldest is obsessed with Taylor Swift and as soon as she was doing with her homework she was listening to her new album on Spotify, all 31 songs.

Hey friends. Happy Monday. I did better this week with taking pictures of what I ate. I have been tracking my food, working towards calorie and protein goals and more veggies.
breakfast
burrito with egg and veggies a few mornings with tator tots too
Eggs with veggies and tator tots
Lunch
Salad with some fruit and other veggies and homemade reach. Chicken sausage as my protein.
Strawberry Pecan salad (recipe coming in a view soon)

Banana PB Granola Bites
Ingredients:
3 overripened bananas
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup maple syrup
2 cup oats
chocolate chips (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Line a 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper
By hand or with a stand mixer, mash banana, peanut butter and syrup together.
Mix in oats until well combined
Press mixture evenly into baking with a spatula.
Top with chocolate chips
Bake for 30 minutes.
Allow to cool completely before cutting
Serve
Enjoy!!!
*store in air tight container on counter for one week or in freezer for up to 6 months.

Hey friends. We have made it halfway through the week. It is our first week in forever that my kids go 5 days. I am loving getting back to a routine and getting so much done.
