Heather and Connor’s Taylor Conservatory and Botanical Gardens engagement session was perfect! I had never been to Heritage Park in Taylor MI before and it’s the cutest little park with lots of old buildings, a gorgeous pond, a petting zoo, and even an ice cream shoppe! It’s such a quaint little spot to visit on a summer afternoon with your family. It was full of tons of spots for photos. The sun was shining down on us for their session as well! We stumbled upon the park’s open air conservatory and the images are gorgeous!!! We ended up staying there for most of the session. It looks like they ..read more

Jordan and Kyle stepped right out of the pages of a fairytale for their Edsel and Eleanor Ford House Engagement! I had never had a session there before so when Jordan brought up the idea of having her and Kyle’s engagement session there I was ecstatic! Let me tell you this place is seriously out of a fairytale. The lovely staff at the Ford House walked us around the grounds showing us all the great locations! I still can’t get over how STUNNING this place is. It didn’t matter where we went every inch of the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House was glowing in magic! I could have spent all day there. It ..read more

We took pictures with penguins and polar bears, who gets to say that about their engagement photos! These two have been going to the Detroit Zoo regularly for a long time now. If you’ve been around here for a while you know that I believe that is the best type of engageme ..read more

So it might be winter, but this winter Stony Creek engagement session was anything but. When Sara and Sean contacted me about photographing their wedding, one of the things they mentioned they wanted was an engagement session with snow. As all of us from Michigan know, we had two massive snow storms right in a row recently. Then freezing temperatures to keep the white blanket on the ground. It was looking like my couple was going to get their wish. However, us Michiganders know the weather here NEVER does what you want and it’s super unpredictable. It ended up being almost 50 degrees the few d ..read more

AHHHH!!!! I seriously can’t get over how gorgeous this session turned out. This was my first time ever visiting the Nichols Arboretum Peony Garden. I could not be more excited for the end result. These photos are probably some of my favorite. It definitely helps that Chelsea and Brandon look like models! I highly recommend anyone who loves nature or flowers to visit the Nichols Arboretum Peony Garden in Ann Arbor at some point in their life. It is incredible!!! The peonies are only in bloom once a year. The website tracks the blooms every year so you will always know the perfect time to visit ..read more

This summer Stony Creek engagement session was definitely a new one for me. It’s my first time shooting in three months due to COVID-19 and the stay at home order here in Michigan. I loved every minute of it! Being out of the house! Being out in nature! Being able to be outside photographing people again has been incredible! I love my husband, but being cooped up in the house with him all day long for sure weighs on your nerves! So that takes me to the reason I was able to photograph this amazing summer Stony Creek engagement, Karen and Tyler! They were soo much fun to work with! Not many peo ..read more
