Ever thought of going bar hopping for your engagement photos? If not, I would definitely recommend! I had the pleasure of doing exactly that for Kristen & Greg’s Philly Engagement Photos. This is a couple whose story unfolded through mutual love of puns, and a unique first date of trivia, Boyz II Men, and laughing so hard that their cheeks got sore. The story culminates in a proposal that involves a stroll through Central Park, quite literally walking through memory lane. The assignment: a cherry blossom engagement photos with all the fairytale vibes, and that’s exactly what Nancy & Jason got. As the petals of cherry blossoms danced in the spring breeze, love was in full bloom during our enchanting cherry blossom engagement session. This made for the most picturesque setting for their love to be photographed. When I think of cherry blossom engagement photos locations in Philly I think of Fairmount Park. Now the cherry blossoms weren’t in full full bloom but we had enough to work with. The soft hues of pink and white created a dreamlike atmosphere, providin ..read more

Should you hire a wedding videographer?
Chrissy Jamie Blog

Let’s be real, the honest reason you’re on the fence about hiring a wedding videographer usually boils down to two things: cost & importance. Well, really these two things go hand in hand. The more importance you place on something, the less you care about the cost. You’ll cut corners in other areas to make it work if you have to. However, if it’s not important to you the cost is the biggest factor. It’s like deciding if you really want a milkshake with the burger and fries or are you going to save a couple extra dollars and inches around your waist? In this instance, either way, you go, i ..read more

South Jersey Weddings | Michele & Damien

What do the Eagles and Michele & Damien have in common (besides their photog)? When the Eagles got their super bowl ring, Michele met the man that would one day put a ring on it. South Jersey Weddings are my second favorite (after Philly of course), provided that it’s nice to get out of the city and switch out the views and vibes. There’s something about the burbs that give things a more slowed-down feel. Plus, there’s an endless amount of greenery which is always a win in my book. Michele & Damien chose a South Jersey Wedding Venue that fit them. Bogeys gave all the late summer chill ..read more

I’ve wanted to photograph a session at Fairmount Water Works for ages so I’m glad I got the chance to do it with Natalie & Steven. We made full use of the Fairmount Water Works gazebo that gives you views of the Schuylkill River and Boathouse Row. We also wandered around the Fairmount Water Works Trail & Boardwalk where there were hints of some nice warm fall foliage. This Fairmount Water Works couples session was one for the books! It was so much fun getting to photograph these two and their love. I love how much fun they have together. There’s something about couples who aren’t afr ..read more

This love story started by pretend and then turned into something very real. Kylee asked Matt to pretend to be her boyfriend at their local college bar. That chance encounter turned into intentional meet-ups over pancakes, coffee, and music. Years later here we are. They started as friends then it turned out to be something more in the end. Kylee is ever the planner and you can tell by how intentional every detail of their wedding was. They wanted their day to reflect their relationship so they pulled inspiration from their travels, favorite movies and music. For instance, they love the movi ..read more

If the waters of the Manayunk Canal had ears, oh the conversations it would hear. During the pandemic, Ashley and Matt walked along the Manayunk Canal and had many deep talks. The kinds of conversations that build and deepen a relationship. So, when they suggested this spot for their Philly engagement photos, I was so down!  I love it when couples choose an engagement photo location that’s special and sentimental to them. It gives us a chance to build more memories in that space and helps your engagement photos really tell the story of your love which adds another layer of sentimental va ..read more

Photographing family is always so special. For this wedding at The Surf Club of New Rochelle, I got to photograph my dear cousin’s special day. Being an integral part of any wedding day is an honor, but the honor hits different when its family. It was also a bonus to see so many family members I haven’t seen in years!! When we arrived at this New York wedding venue I grabbed the details and got to work. Susan wanted to re-create the iconic shot at this venue of her dress hanging from the grand staircase which I was all too happy to oblige! The only trouble was getting it done before the groo ..read more

I’ve pulled some of my 3 most frequently asked questions to save you the trouble of having to ask or wonder! Let’s get to it! What is the turn around time for images?  Turn around time for engagement sessions is 1-2 weeks. For weddings you can expect a preview gallery just days after your wedding as a little sneak peek to hold ya until the fully gallery is ready. The full gallery takes about 4-6 weeks! (During the holiday season galleries might take slightly longer). All images are delivered via online gallery that has a little shop attached to it where you can order p ..read more
