Last week I met up with Hana and Greg for their engagement photos in Fells Point. We started (and ended) at Pitango, where they went on their first date. We also made a little trip over to Sound Garden to look for records, and then caught an awesome sunset and some night shots with the Domino Sugars sign. I really enjoyed my time with Hana and Greg, creating photos for them without doing the cheesy typical engagement photos. Here are ..read more

Last week I got to meet up with Aidan and Skye for their engagement photos in Harrisburg, PA. I've known Aidan since he took my video class in 2017. It was clear by the way he talked about Skye back then that they were end game, so needless to say I was SO EXCITED when I saw that they were engaged and even more so when they reached out about having me photograph their wedding. Aidan is (I think) my ..read more

Earlier this week, we got up well before the sun to capture Amara and Jon's engagement session in DC! We started off in Capitol Hill for some "night shots" before grabbing an uber to the Lincoln for sunrise and to catch the cherry blossoms. We were expecting not to get many photos with the cherry blossoms because it was past "peak bloom" but they were so full and stunning! It was a gorgeous morning and I loved spending time with ..read more

It's surreal to be writing another end of year recap post. Time passes so quickly when we're in the midst of busy season, and once it's over it's wild to reflect back on everything we experienced. This year there was another layer to the wild feeling of time passing, and that's that my second to last wedding of the year was my own. In a lot of ways this year's sessions and weddings felt different because I was approaching them ..read more

Amanda and Holden reached out to me about doing in home engagement photos with them because they wanted to get photos with their old lady baby, Misha. I had photographed Amanda's sister's wedding and I was excited to do this for her too! Firstly, Misha is the sweetest kitty lady and we were best friends immediately. Although she didn't *love* being photographed, she loved me (and vice versa) so I'll let it slide. Amanda and Holden also recently had some ..read more

Last weekend I got together with Sara, Michael and their friend Clayton for their engagement photos. We started at Weber's Peachberry farm where we picked and tasted a ton of apples, which was SO fun. Then after we got our fill of apples, we went to the market for cider donuts and pumpkins, and finished up the day at Oregon Ridge where we found some beautiful fall foliage. It was an awesome time and I can't wait to spend more ..read more

This weekend, I had the pleasure of capturing Brittany and Josh's engagement session in the Fed Hill neighborhood. It was awesome that they chose to focus on a single location. This allowed us to capture the essence of daytime, the beauty of sunset, and the allure of the night, with a thoughtful outfit change for some elegant evening photos. I thoroughly enjoyed our time together and am eagerly looking forward to their wedding next year ..read more
