There are so many beautiful places in Bellingham to capture Fall colors, and the end of October was perfect for this Lake Padden engagement session! It was important to Sadie and Tyler to include their dog Cedar, and I fell in love with him instantly. Adrienne from  provided professional pet care and made it a fun, easy experience for everyone! We carried on with this North Cascades couple session rain or shine! That choice gave us the entire lake to ourselves and a lighthearted, adventurous feeling in all their images. Danielle and Clay love spending time in the outdoors, so we drove up to Mount Baker to capture that sense of adventure in their engagement portraits! Lily and Sam chose to celebrate their engagement with portraits at Mukilteo Lighthouse Beach Park near Everett. It's a special place to them and one of my favorite beaches for photos. Chelsea and Andrew wanted a session near Mount Baker, a favorite place where they've spent time camping and canoeing together. We connected over Zoom first, and it was such a joy to learn more about them and the story of how they met years ago on an airplane. Adventure session require an adventurous attitude, and when our original locations ended up closed, we were stoked to find this expansive waterfront spot instead.
