Hello. It seems the make of your Chromebook has to do with the current stable version. My Chromebook right now updated to 120.0.6099.272 (Official Build)
Google is holding back the updates for a reason on particular devices it seems.

Perhaps they both picked up the update to version .259 of Chrome and that’s what might have done it.

Yesterday, 1/26/24, the wireless mouse on both my husbands and my mothers Chromebooks were no longer recognized when turning them on. Neither of them leave their Chromebooks turned on all the time – when they’re done using them they shut them down. Both of them are on stable channel and the version showing is 120.0.6099.259. I also have a Chromebook, but my version is 120.0.6099.235 and I am not experiencing any problems with my mouse. When I try to see if an update is available for my husbands Chromebook it says its “up to date”. Any idea what the problem might b ..read more
