I have an add-in for Firefox called "Multilevel Speed Dial". It has done tremendous things to help me become organized...at least to begin to be organized. Is there such an app for Android? I am not talking about the built in function that lets you put phone numbers on a speed dial for Android. The Multilevel Speed Dial lets me put websites or folders into one of the dial options. Folders open to another speed dial set which may have websites or folders. I have spent quite a bit of time searching in Google but found nothing. This is my last resort - to ask the people who are most in tune with ..read more

This tutorial requires to install ADB (for me on Windows) through these steps. But in "How to set up ADB on your computer" section, step #6 "In the Command Prompt/Terminal window, enter the following command to launch the ADB daemon" is incomplete - the command to launch is missing. Any idea how to get out of this ..read more

So it is so frustrating to be using a mobile browser of any kind It does it to me doesn't matter whether I'm using Firefox, Chrome, brave, whale, opera or etc. Let's say you're filling in a form on a website to buy something and you need to minimize your browser for a second so you can look something up that you need to enter or even answer a text message or look at an email you just got so then when you go back to the browser it refreshes to your start screen and you just lost everything. The page and everything you entered. Why does it do this? Why can't a browser be smarter than this ..read more

I've encountered this before in other browsers but never identified it. I'm test driving Firefox but am hesitant to switch for reason below. Device: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra OS: Android 14 (OneUI 6.0) Browser: Firefox Beta (and Stable) Keyboard: Swift and GBoard When I'm typing in a text box, like Google Reviews, Disqus or even forums, during longer posts (sometimes immediately), the cursor jumps all over the place and I can't type properly or even highlight to fix or copy and paste what I wrote. Anyone know the cause and/or fix? Right after I typed that it started tw ..read more

Hello. I'm testing an Android app. In some cases I don't need fingerprint authentication on the device. It's the same if the fingerprint is active but disabled and when is deleted? (It's kinda annoying to delete it and create it over and over again). On the picture below, its's disabled, not deleted and it's off ..read more

I have 2 android phones and 2 android tablets. I am looking for ways that I can make them as secure as possible, especially my Pixel, which is the only portable device that I use to make financial transactions. I have had some trouble in the past couple of months that I would consider acts of cyber vandalism - there was no $$ involved but it was very annoying and time consuming. My situation: I have Nord VPN. I am shopping for a router that has a built in firewall that allows users to adjust - if I use this with my devices (at home, of course) will it make much of a difference in security? My ..read more

Hello, everyone! Recently I both a Motorola Moto G14 that comes with Android 13. The phone is great for the price and it works fine but I am experiencing issues with Google Assistant. It's responding randomly to "Hey, Google". Usually it works fine when I say it the first time but then it stops responding to following commands for a couple of minutes and then it works again. Sometimes it doesn't work at all... Is this an issue with my device or is it a bug in Google Assistant? I tried to retrain the voice model but it didn't help. I made sure that the assistant app is not included in some b ..read more
