Ric Flair joined AEW last year after being revealed as Tony Khan’s gift to Sting ahead of his retirement at the Revolution PPV. Flair said he couldn’t pass on this opportunity and wanted to be along for the ride with Sting until his retirement at Revolution. As Dave Meltzer pointed out, there haven’t been any graphics for the drink on AEW television lately, and unless something changes, it doesn’t appear fans will see ads for it in the future. CJ Perry is no longer with AEW. Perry, who was let go by WWE in June 2021 alongside several other stars, had expressed interest in AEW for years but worked on various projects before her arrival. Perry made her AEW debut following the Miro vs. Powerhouse Hobbs match at the AEW All Out pay-per-view event in 2023 from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. AEW may introduce the first-ever women’s Blood & Guts match one day.  This match is AEW’s take on WarGames, as two rings are surrounded by a cage. The inaugural match was delayed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and pushed back to the May 5, 2021, episode of AEW Dynamite between The Pinnacle and The Inner Circle. Samoa Joe was written off television during Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite when he battled Chris Jericho in a street fight. Jericho was helped in the match by Big Bill and Bryan Keith, as HOOK was not cleared to travel after taking a fireball to the face from Jericho last week. Also, Katsuyori Shibata was not present on the show. Jericho loaded Joe onto a forklift and then drove him through a wall in the bout.
