I just recently went to a con as dark tactical deadpool, but I had to make katanas. What’s deadpool without them? Anyway! Good morning, everyone. I've done prints before, but usually much smaller ones like weapons and smaller handheld props. I'm trying to get into armor making, starting by attempting to print an ODST helmet, but I'm struggling with support. I'm using a CR-10S, which has a 300x300 build plate, so I can print the helmet whole, but my concern comes down to support placement and knowing which pieces need support and which don't. After a year, I've decided to improve my build that I made for San Diego Comic Con. I'm keeping the Helmet, gauntlets, thighs, and chest piece, while the rest is being remade or completely redone. First I dropped the halo 3 odst torso armor as it was too bulky and didn't really look that great. Hello! I'm fairly new to the armor printing scene but I figured my first would be some kind of rakshasa--not a lot of armor to it, seems pretty straightforward. I'm looking for feedback regarding the chest armor, which I've scaled down to 85% to appropriately fit me (I'm a bit of a skinny minny).
