Hello, I’m looking for some advice please. I’m currently going through the menopause after pelvic radiotherapy/chemotherapy. My dr has prescribed Kliofem which I’ve been taking for 5 weeks now. The hot flushes have lessened but I’m really struggling with fatigue and lack of motivation. Has anyone been through something similar or have any experience with Kliofem? Thank you in advance .

I have just been discharged today after a hysterectomy (taking ovaries and tubes etc). When the op was initially discussed they suggested I be on HRT afterwards as no ovaries so be plunged into surgical menopause. On discharge the nurses said they hadn’t written anything up for HRT and they rarely send anyone home with it. She said it would usually be the GP that prescribes it, or when I’m followed up with the histology results.
Has anyone else been through it that can shed any light?

Hello.
I am now through the menopause.
But i have stenosis and intercourse can be uncomfortable.
With my next colposcopy later this year the consultant wants me to take vagifem for 2 months.
Is there a natural oestrogen?
Also interested in this for my skin too.
Thankyou

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to see if anyone is or has been in a similar situation to me at the moment. I finished treatment almost 2 years ago now (almost 3 years from RH) and am struggling abit with menopause. I feel like i am losing my mind. Its not a constant thing just every now and again. My mood swings are absolutely awful and when Im experiencing one I cant seem to get myself out of it! Ive gained a tonne of weight and I have no interest in intimacy with my partner, its like I just can’t be bothered with anything.
We have also had a bereavement in the family recently so Im thinking its a ..read more

Good morning ladies,
I wanted to ask yous, so i had my cancer in June 2022 it was quickly treated and my treayment was finished November 25th 2022. I was given the all clear in March 2023.
So after November i was out on HRT as went into menopause right away and this was ok for a while. Come June 2023 i was in utter agony, this went on for 4 and half months and the pain only got worse and worse. Turns out because the brachytherapy and pelvic radiation the cervix is shut and with the HRT patches it was keeping the hormones going so i was having an internal period each time and it was building up ..read more

Hi Ladies,
I’m 28 and was diagnosed with stage 3C cervical cancer back in January this year, completing radiotherapy, chemotherapy & brachytherapy in April, and like many other, putting me straight into the deep end of early menopause.
After weeks of not feeling like ‘myself’ and being in tears daily my consultant decided it was time for HRT and I’ve since been on the evoril conti patches. To begin with I thought they were great and felt like a dark cloud had been lifted once the hormones started to come back, but over the past month or so I’ve found myself dipping back into an exhausted ..read more

I’m 39, and quite frankly I’m tired of being on the patch. Been on it for years. Is there anything else I can do to not use the patches anymore? Other supplements. My oncologist won’t talk to me about any other options, he just says use the patches until you’re 50 or die young…
