Google announced its plans to retire Universal Analytics, replacing it with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) by October 1, 2023. All Universal Analytics properties will no longer collect data beginning on that date.
Individuals and businesses that wish to keep using Google Analytics to track their metrics after these dates will have to switch to Google Analytics 4.
