So here's something I didn't expect....
I recently had a doctor request blood work be ran on me because she was going to prescribe a drug that might affect my liver. To make sure my liver could handle it, she had all the appropriate lab work done.
I was concerned because I've drank more than my fair share in the past and thought there might be obvious damage. Instead, everything came back quite awesome and she was pleased with my bill of health!
While that part was a relief and quite...

I've been trying to get sober for a few months now. over the past few years I have drastically cut down on the number of days that I drink, I don't go to work hungover and have lost 10-15 pounds.
Now I just go out once a week. but most of the time that means I drink too much and wake up with a hangover and hate myself.

I have stopped all the...

Hey,
okay this is a first for me and almost equally stressful as being in a group of people sitting in a circle and talking, I am suffering from general anxiety, long-time general depression and not being able to sleep(since I started using alcohol). I did not say insomnia because eventually I fall asleep but it takes time (around 3-4AM). I use sufficient amount of alcohol (around 34oz of 20-22 proof wine for example) just before bed time because it puts me to sleep efficiently. I have never...

Hi, my hubby is addicted to alcohol. We don't have a child and we are too much worried about this. Actually, it was because of my problem. We have undergone IVF treatment. But it failed two times. Nowadays, his days starts and ends with drinks. I don't know how to control him. His friends and relatives advised him, but he didn't...
