Hello, I became incontinent when I was in my 20s due to an accident, so it’s been several years that I’ve had this medical condition. I have urinary incontinence and wear incontinence briefs day and night. At the beginning of this problem, it was very difficult for me to accept it and know I would wear briefs for the rest of my life. Ultimately, I began to recover and became self-sufficient again, but the embarrassment and isolation was still a problem. Just the thought of buying briefs, to be seen buying them, feeling that people can see me wearing them, feeling that my diaper would be notice ..read more

It started about a year ago when I was shopping for food. I felt sick to my stomach and all of a sudden I pooped my pants. I was very embarrassed and very upset with myself because I was in a store with about 70 to 80 people. I know that people who were behind me must have seen me and they could smell it. All I wanted to do is cry. I left my cart were it happened and I ran out the door. I called my doctor when I got home and she told me to come in. I stopped in a medical supply store and brought myself some super absorbent adult diapers. And then a couple pairs of plastic pants to put over th ..read more

I have fecal incontinence. I don’t get the urge to go but what happens to me is I’d get ready for the day and go do what I need to do. Then of course, I’d come home and use the bathroom and I had drops of feces on my underwear. Well, of course I didn’t want to go to the doctor, this would be embarrassing. I mean, what if I need to be examined. I went to my pcp and was referred to a colorectal doctor. Good news. He gave me a slip of paper that tells me to take one imodium every other day and take a drink of metamucil daily. I had to work up to one imodium daily. That even worked better. What a ..read more

Been dealing with IBS and bloating for a long time now. No one talks about it or what to do about it. Doctors don’t tell you how to deal with it. No one mentions about wearing diapers if you can’t be near a restroom , which diapers to use, diaper covers etc . Have to figure that all out on your own. It seems many have this issue but afraid to talk about it. There needs to be more of an awareness, and we are not all into some diaper fetish thing. It would be nice if there were more places equipped to change a diaper when out, instead of in your car. I suppose those of us that have this should b ..read more

Lifelong nightly bed wetter that had to stay in pin on cloth diapers with plastic pants. Also had noisy plastic mattress cover under my sheets to catch leaks that happened 2-3 nights a week. Also struggled with daytime leaking issues and had to rush I bathrooms 15+ times a day with already damp pants. Wore thick “training pants” underwear with plastic pants under my pants to try and keep my pants dry. I always had a back p pair of pants at school when leaks would happen. When ai entered high school I was allowed to choose to stop wearing my nighttime diapers. This was a disaster as I woke up m ..read more

It all started back in January of 2017. I changed my diet a bit, and decided to start eating more salads. On this particular day, within 30 of consuming the food, I was sprinting to the restroom with horrible diarrhea and burning abdominal pain. Thinking it was unrelated to the salad, the same situation played out the next day, and the next. I decided to completely change what I was eating, but the trend continued despite my changes. It escalated to the point where I had intermittent issues with fecal incontinence and alternating constipation. I was mortified. As a 35 year old woman, this was ..read more

I dealt with bedwetting (and a little day wetting) throughout most of my childhood. It mainly resolved by my teen years, but now as an adult in my 30s, it has returned. The best management strategy I have found has been wearing disposable diapers to bed every night. My wife has been very supportive and the incontinence support groups I have found online have been helpful too ..read more

Constipation and dysentry, both have been constant companions throughout my adult life. Most of it is hereditary, my brothers have it too. This has been a constant source of headache literally, for all of us. Once relieved, my mind has felt lot calmer. Otherwise i am given to fits of anger and even physical aggression. Drinking warm water or green tea helps a lot. I have discussed this often with my church group and my bisexual meetups. I hope this is cured soon. Love is love ..read more

Ten years ago I was diagnosed rectal cancer. I had my rectum removed (St Mark´s Hospital, London), did quimioterapy, radiotherapy and had an ileostomy (bag) which was suposed to be temporary but because I would have a severe faecal incontinence I was advised to keep the bag and five years later have a permanent colostomy. Fortunately 8 years after I decided to remove my bag, encouraged by another doctor, which I did. First three weeks was a nightmare, couldn’t leave the toilet. Afterwards I tried to put some water in the rectum with the water pressure from the hose shower. Worked like a dream ..read more
