I've never flown a drone before. I am into RC cars and have wanted to get into FPV drones for years. It's finally time.
I am building my first 5" FPV drone and would appreciate any feedback that you all can provide.

A little background: I've been wanting to get into FPV / Racing for quite a long time, but the cost has always been a major barrier to entry. I've used many other RC things, including drones from Roy-grade up to "prosumer" over the years, too.
Fast forward to today. Found a racing drone setup at a second hand store that looked in great condition overall, including a nice case, TX, drone itself, and tons of spare parts... No goggles, though. Was able to pick it up for $70. It's a "Storm Srd250 v3" (which was apparently made my a company that is no longer in business.... www.helipad.com ..read more

I have a 1400mAh 4s battery
It's currently sitting at abotu 15.8v (just got a B6 charger today)
It is used for a moped horn and so very seldom actually gets "turned on".
Would it be beneficial to reduce the voltage to a lower voltage? I've had it for about 6 months and it's barely lost any charge at all (I didn't have the charger when I got it)
Many thanks for any suggestions
