Satanic Clubs making inroads in Children's Schools

As an alternative to Christian clubs, atheist clubs should be increasing in popularity over the coming years. What are your thoughts ? I feel like the terms Christian and Satanic have identical roots in mythological books, and the application of their principles and values (whatever they may be) seem to be independent of historical meaning of these terms.  I suppose it's inevitable given the pervasiveness of Christianity in our society but as an emerging front in the culture war, I'm not really enthused about this. As for Christianity - there were still mandatory prayers in schools onl ..read more

Formal church and the IOC

For an example, and comparison. Strict pecking hierarchy, male-dominated, dogmatic, entrenched, opaque and obscure, monopolistic, and rich. But why? One could think, completely different domains, goals, people. Why is the result near identical? Why should the head of the IOC be a lifetime position, or near? Who said it? What sense does it make? What we see is the natural process of evolution of closed tribes, not obligated to any transparency, nor accountability. An experimental proof that it will always produce power-hungry ineffective and inefficient rigid hierarchies. Is it another evidence ..read more

What is "Romanism"?

@blackbird, this is what I could find with a quick engine search. Write your views, will read them, maybe others will follow in the discussion. You keep talking about this term, daily. "Romanism" has been used to suggest that the Roman Catholic Church is excessively focused on ritual and tradition, or that it places too much emphasis on the authority of the pope.  The term has often been used in a pejorative manner, particularly by Protestant groups who have been critical of Catholicism.  Points FOR "Romanism:" One of the oldest and most widespread Christian denomination ..read more

The criminal element hates a one world governance; that makes me for it. You?

The criminal element hates a one world governance; that makes me for it.  You?   Given my old criminal mind and delinquent attitude; I know that if I was my old self, I would hate the notion of a one world government.   Such a bank would prevent me from talking advantage of the white economy.   Fair taxation makes my criminal wallet lose twofold. I lose my gain and now must pay and play fair. Bummer.   Given my reform and apotheosis, I feel it is my duty to tell all my fellow white economy taxpayers, we all pay taxes, and it is foolish not to have a fair system.   ..read more

This is the Beginning of the End ...

So, let's summarize... Since the collapse of the Leman Brothers Investment Bank, the economy has entered a period of recession that has plunged large parts of society into semi-poverty. Or in real poverty. All manufacturing has moved, from Western factories, to those of the Far East, where a worker (enslaved) can cost (even) 15 times less than here. To counter this competition, the West has responded by pushing innovation and (above all) automation to the maximum. Those who have white hair, will explain to you that, to make the same sweater, to make the same tile, to make any product, t ..read more

United Church Affirms Support for Trans Youth

In the face of a record number of bills centred around transgenderism, the United Church of Christ in the US has affirmed their position supporting trans youth as part of the church of Christ. https://www.ucc.org/trans-youth-lives-matter-ucc-leaders-commit-to-love-and-justice-in-action-amidst-anti-lgbtq-bills/   For me, this controversy feels*generated.  It ticks all the right marks to get reactions from certain constituencies. I expect it will pass, but these milestones are significant ..read more

We have freewill God lets us decide to do good or bad and our purpose in life is when we make that decision. it's easy to not know that purpose because we are different. But freewill God gives it but he also gives us the law and the law is not wrong and niether is freewill just soceity itself is wrong and we have forgotten what is the normal back in those days. Society mistakes and thinks God is against freewill but gave freewill the right to choose and they have invented freewill is voting, paying taxes, and civics duties. No people those things are the mistake modern society makes because th ..read more

Story from a Christian priest, My Bias, Listening

This is a good thread to do before heading to bed. I bashed enough Christianity on this board, might as well do a positive thread. Always good to share when things like this happen.  Today someone sent me a video. The video was of an Eastern European priest.  As soon as I seen the cross, the robes and that substance that they throw in the air to bless the air, or whatever they do, as soon as I seen those things, I went to delete it.  I did not delete it, so I allowed it to play, allow me to translate the story:  Priest says: I heard once a story about a grou ..read more
