  I have been super busy as of late. I have been working a lot, even weekends. The kids keep busy with school and sports. And I'm currently dealing with some personal issues. Hey everyone, I recently went to Spec Ops Group in Martinsville on a random Sunday for some pew pew and it got me thinking.   Playing Airsoft outside versus playing Airsoft inside are technically the same thing, but they are also very different. I am planning a trip to Japan this summer literally the day I'd get back from Berget (it'd be get off a plane, go home, grab other bag, get back on next plane) and am wondering if anyone's planning on going. As I play more and more games I realize that promotion isn't the best. I've seen too many posts that are either on facebook or here when really it should be 3 places at least (Facebook here and instagram) The younger generation say 25 and under dont use either facebook or forums and I highly recommend if you want to keep growing the industry to have a different distribution strategy. So... I received a call from RG last night and he filled me on some of the details from the AI Community Meeting. With what he said I am extremely excited about the potential direction that AI is heading. Leave the negativity and drama behind and focus on building a community that can compete at the local and national level.   With that... Here's a philosophical question for you guys, especially those of you setting up event rules.  When doing custom work, when does an RPK stop being an RPK? So, the major differences between an airsoft ak and rpk seems to be the longer barrel, clubfoot stock and bipod.  All this adds up to a heavier weapon than a standard rifle.  Does losing one change it's status?  Or will the addition of other items that will replace the lost weight make up for it?  My current plan is to ditch the bipod, add some custom heat shielding and SRUs hmu kit, and try to scifi up the gun ..read more
