Interesting stuff… do you think our microbes are really in control?
https://hms.harvard.edu/news/how-gut-microbes-help-mend-damaged-muscles
“In an even more unexpected twist, the researchers found that gut microbes fuel the production of Tregs, which act as immune healers that go on patrol around the body and respond to distress signals from distant sites of injury… play a role in repairing injured muscles and mending damaged livers.”
“So, when during a routine cataloging of various immune cells in different organs they came across gut Tregs intermingled with muscle cells, the researchers were ..read more

I have been looking at SuperBulk that contains test 250 and tren e200 as well as deca300 in it. Thinking about also including dbal in tablets to add to this stack. Advice on the dosages for the SuperBulk and the dosage for the dbal?

I’'ve been doing a PPL rotation where I hit each workout every 4-5 days. Usually it goes like this: Push/Pull/Rest/Legs/Rest/Repeat
Having a chest and delt focused push day variants doesn’t seem right to me as this would mean that I would be benching or pressing only every 10 days. In such case, how would you structure the Push day so that both chest and shoulders get hit adequately?
Here is example, my delts are already fried by the time I reach the seated press.
Bench Press 3 sets 6-8
Incline Bench Press 3 sets 8-10
Dumbbell Flyes 3 sets 12-15
Seated Dumbbell Press 3 sets 8-10

by Chris Shugart The Metabolic Eating Solution This simple eating strategy never fails, no matter your goals. Here's how to do it.
Protein is the enemy of love handles, belly fat, and even full-blown obesity. It's the jet fuel for building muscle, the driver of healthy metabolisms, and the nemesis of aging poorly. Protein, in short, makes you feel good and look better naked.
Call it protein-based or protein-first eating. Better yet, call it metabolic eating because a high-protein plan speeds up and lays the foundation for long-term positive outcomes.
It's not really a diet; it's a practice th ..read more

I’m 44 years old and have trained on and off for years. I think 2018 was the last time I was in good shape and I haven’t lifted a barbell since 2021. I’ve trained sporadically with kettlebells doing presses, rows, goblet squats and swings.
Recently, I set up a home gym because my wife wanted to lift weights. Surprisingly, when I tested my strength I was able to easily bench 100kg, squat 120kg and do 8 dead hang neutral grip chin ups. It’s fired me up a bit to lift some weights.
My main goal is fat loss, because I’m fat, and I’m not happy about it. My second goal is to reach a level where I fee ..read more

I’ve been running a cut for about 12 weeks now. I ran 10 weeks initially then ran maintenance for 4 weeks and started again. I’m down from 220 to 199lbs. I’m currently losing 1-2 lbs per week. I’d like to drop about 8 more lbs. After that my goal is to go on a mild cycle (300mg Test C, 400mg NPP per week) and do a clean bulk.
My question is do I need to run maintenance before bulking and if so, how long?
Also once I’m done bulking, how long do I need to run maintenance before cutting any excess fat I may have gained during the bulk.
Thanks much for your help!

Hi, so basically I was 148lbs in January doing starting strength, then by june I was 157lbs with low strength numbers. So deciding to up my calories and got really fat while making decent strength progress. I’m now 183lbs with a 35 inch waist, with a low 200lb squat and deadlift due to low back pain, 185lbs x 4 bench and 140 x 5 overhead press. I feel fat but undermuscled as well. My goal is to be big strong and lean.
The skinny pic is me in January, the fat ones are today.

I posted this exact thread in the training log but I don’t believe it falls under that category, so it’s reposted here. Sorry if that’s against the rules.
How it started:
5"9, 203lbs, hadn’t trained in years and had gained around 45-50lbs.
How it’s going:
5"9, 214bs, training 5x weekly and eating in a 600+ surplus on average.
Weight gain graph:
I believe the initial 8lbs was water/glycogen, the other 3lbs was muscle/fat
Summary:
This is on a cycle that was not advised and shouldn’t have been started. Will continue this for another 15 weeks and then cruise/cut.
Physical: Strength g ..read more

Hey everyone, I’m new here. I’m 47 and have been on TRT for about 4 years. I inject 200mg/week. My doctor now has the ability to prescribe deca. I was thinking about bumping test up to 300-400mg/week and running 150mg/deca. Will I get decent results with that?
