Loneliness itself is the cause of illness, mental anxiety, stress and depression. Its really good to talk to others and meditate. Even sometimes forgetting illness is the best remedy. Statistics: Posted by smithwilfer80@gmail.com — Thu Apr 04, 2024 6:53 am ..read more

Trying to get rid of Eczema, I gave up smoking fifteen years ago, gave up alcohol at the same time, along with red meat. I distil my drinking water through ginger in an airstil,I have regained my health, my stamina, and have gone back to the tools (being a Carpenter). Replaced potatoes etc with carrots and sweet potato. The arthritis I thought I had has also diminished by 80%. I can wear non cotton socks without problems, though I do prefer to wear cotton.I also gave up wheat for a long time, but a slice of bread from time to time appears to be fine. It is now a joyful world, as anyone with Ec ..read more

At 68 I have discovered the cause of the eczema I have had for over fifty years. Most treatments never worked, using the pink calamine lotion for years. Tried changing diet many times with minimal success. Used heat to ease the itch in the end(fooling the brain with a burn to prevent my scratching).. BUT, since giving up potatoes, tomatoes and all the Night shade family plants, halleluiah! No eczema at all, total relief. Tried Potatoes again and within a couple of days I am itching severely, stopped the potatoes and the itch went within a day or two . I can say now I am totally free of Eczema ..read more

Hi i'm a 34 YO guy who has been experiencing dermatitis on my glans (all around the upper part of my glans) in the last 1 year. i don't have pain, the Doctor said it's mild dermatitis, but when i have sex the dermatitis becomes more pronounced and i always have to appy Vaseline before intercorse with my partner). FYI, I've got circumcision whne I was 25. The specialist the first time told me to apply just Vaseline twice a day on the area and i did that for several month withuot seeing my glans going back to normal. Then the same specialist has told me to apply Diprosone (Betamethasone Dipro ..read more

Long time eczema sufferer for 30+ years, many creams, lotions on all parts of the body. Gradually, over the years, I have tried to find solutions to the problem areas and treated each eczema episode like a trial and error experiment. football- wear 2x cotton football socks, one sock on next to the skin, then the shin pads and then the other sock over the top. Also if its a polyester top, wear a cotton top underneath, even in hot weather. I sometimes will take an anti-allergy/ hay fever tablet 1 hour before to reduce/eliminate rashes that sometimes appear when you sweat. Don't wear sweaty goalk ..read more

Hello, A few years ago I was gardening and got jabbed my a blackberry bush or rose bush. A few days later redness appeared on my leg https://i.imgur.com/BG0XfWt.jpg I was initially prescribed Trimovate and that worked initially and removed a little ... but after a while it stopped working I went back to be Doctor and they prescribed me another cream (forgot its name) but this did nothing I would like to know if anyone can identify what this is. Is it Eczema, contact dermatisis or something else ? What medication would you recommend ? Statistics: Posted by orient3268 — Sat Oct 28, 2023 4 ..read more

My GP will now only prescribe Hydrocortisone cream. Timodine cream made my rash worse, but at least it resolved the fungal infection. Only Clobetasone Butyrate eases my rash. As an experiment I bought 1% Hydrocortisone cream over the counter. But after a week my rash was worse again. I'm seeing a GP yet again today, I will ask them if they will prescribe 2.5% Hydrocortisone. This may sound ridiculous, but I wonder if I'm focussing all my stress into my groin, where it manifests inself as this awful rash. Maybe I don't need a Dermatologist, perhaps I need a Psychiatrist instead? Statistics: Po ..read more

I am experiencing similar dry lips and dry itchy flakey area on my chin. PA suggessted aquafor for a week, then dermatologist and steroid cream if not better. It is better after 4 days but itchy when aquafor not applied. I am 50 and never had any issues until this. Really perplexed. I do have a beard and never had beard until 3 yrs ago. I don't get the clear liquid leakage. Just dry flakey chin and dry lips. Haven't felt "normal" in a month. Statistics: Posted by rdcline@glenpoolps.org — Tue Aug 15, 2023 4:26 pm ..read more
