So I have type 2 rosacea and I use the ordinary azaelic acid and have done for a while now. I currently just put it on spots where I have redness as a part of my evening skin routine, is this right or should I be using it all over my face?? Anyone who uses this please let me know how you use it? submitted by /u/annaelizanna [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

There is hope for rosacea! I’ve tried every product under the sun. Every sunscreen, redness relief, diet change, etc. The apostrophe sunscreen is hands down the best screen I’ve ever used. No white cast, no oily feel or look, and no skin irritation. Routine: Sulfur soap bar soap AM + PM Apotrophe 45 SPF AM Apostrophe Triple Cream Formula PM (Ivermectin, Metro Gel, Aza Acid) Doxycycline 100mg capsule PM Changes since starting treatment 2 months ago: Redness has generally decreased, skin texture has majorly improved. Clocked pores in nose, and upper cheeks has improved majorly. The itching/burn ..read more

Has anyone here with type 1 tried any products from the Origins mega-mushroom line?

I have rosacea type one (chronic redness and flushing) and I’m curious about the Origins Mega-Mushroom line (specifically the “lotion” which is supposedly more like a watery toner, and the emulsion, which I guess would be like a moisturizer). I’ve never tried anything from Origins before but this product line markets itself as redness reducing so I’m curious about it! Has anyone here tried it, and did it have any impact on your redness/flushing? submitted by /u/sunflowerss3 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hello. I was diagnosed with rosacea with seborrheic dermatitis 7 years ago. Dermatologist gave me some pills for 2 months for rosacea and a cream mixture containing betafusin for seborrheic dermatitis fungiderm fucidin zelogent as a suncream and rosiced metronidazole for rosacea. It worked but betafusin is not for long term usage as it is corticosteroid. After a year rosiced was out of market so went to another dermatolist who gave me la roche toleriane rosaliac but didn't work. The same gave me anthelios 100 Ka plus when I told her the previous cream didn't work but didn't use it as it said ..read more

I have been dealing with what I can only imagine is rosacea for about a year and a half now (I have NOT been formally diagnosed). My GP has done allergy tests, and everything has come back negative. I have NOT seen a dermatologist yet, but I will be making an appointment this week as this issue is just getting progressively worse… I work in a field where I travel and am often meeting new people and representing my company, so it’s hard not to want to cover this intense redness as well as the blemishes that come along with it. But I’m sure that makeup only intensifies the issue. I’ve tried SO ..read more

Odd doxy reaction? Is this intercranial pressure?

I’ve been on 100mg of doxycycline for Type 2 rosacea for about two and half weeks now. For the past few days whenever I walk or stand I get this small, dull pulsing sensation that starts in my head behind my eyes and then kind of rapidly “balloons” and radiates down to my throat and chest. I frequently get vertigo and ocular migraines and this feeling is unlike either of those. I wouldn’t really call it a headache because it doesn’t hurt at all, it’s just numbness/a soft throb for like 10 second intervals. Sometimes along with a sudden cavernous kind of feeling in my head and chest. It kind o ..read more

Every morning I wake up to new whiteheads and blemishes, especially on my cheeks and temples. I think part of the problem is that I am a side sleeper, but I can’t get myself to sleep on the back. Has anyone tried the antibacterial pillow cases by Niche Beauty Lab? Or do you have any other recommendations for pillow covers; or pillows that helps sleeping on the back? I'm in EU, and silk is not an option for me. Thank you ! submitted by /u/apex----predator [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Why does this cleanser irritate my rosacea? (La Roche Posay)

I was recommended this at my local pharmacy. The person said this can't be drying or irritating even I was a bit scared of the foaming side. It makes my skin soo dry, irritated and red. Trying to pinpoint why that happens so that I know to answer next time I am recommended something that doesn't suit me that makes me hesitate. What in this one is not rosacea friendly? I have used niacinamide before that I saw this one has and it hasn't caused such reaction. https://www.laroche-posay.co.uk/en_GB/toleriane-hydrating-foam-in-gel-double-cleanser-for-sensitive-skin/LRP_173.html#tab=description su ..read more
