HeinOnline recently announced an enhancement to their U.S. State Package, which now offers unprecedented access to historical state information. This upgrade includes a brand-new database and new indexing for all state session laws from inception to date.

The ABA has issued its first ethics guidance for attorneys on their use of generative AI technology. Formal Opinion 512 directs lawyers who use generative artificial intelligence tools to "fully consider their applicable ethical obligations, including their duties to provide competent legal representation, to protect client information, to communicate with clients, to supervise their employees and agents, to advance only meritorious claims and contentions, to ensure candor toward the tribunal, and to charge reasonable fees."

This month, 65 ABA titles were added to Jenkins' LexisNexis Digital Library. The titles are available to access remotely with select memberships. Jenkins will continue to receive additional ABA titles in print while also maintaining historic titles on microfiche.

Our public access Westlaw stations here at the library now include National Reporter images for case law. This new feature allows you to see exactly what a case from the National Reporter system looks like in a print reporter. Find images from sources such as the Federal Reporter, Federal Supplement and the Atlantic Reporter.
To view an image, pull up a case on Westlaw. While viewing the case, look for the pdf icon in the upper left portion of the page:
