Coach Paul Martin provides the first video in a series detailing how to review your season, set goals, and plan your next season. Each step is equally important and will inform the next. As tempting as it is to dive in, start entering races as we're bombarded with early bird discounts, and commit to winter training before fully reviewing your last season, taking a moment to reflect can be valuable and informative, making setting your goals and planning your next race season that much easier. And why is this important? Because these decisions inherently influence so many aspects of your traini ..read more

Time Trialing is a great way to practice our non-drafting triathlon bike legs! Typically 10, 25 or 50 miles, there is a suitable distance for most triathlon bike legs. PRE RACE: Having arrived in Kathmandu early Monday morning, we were greeted by the race organisers and immediately briefed about the next few days leading up the race start on Thursday. The first few days gave us an opportunity to get to know our fellow athletes, understand each others preparations, question our own decisions and kit choices, and shop for any last minute purchases on the bustling streets of Thamel where you could buy every item of outdoor equipment imaginable... some more genuine than others. Kathmandu is vibrant and chaotic. The air is thick with dust, and in reality, while w ..read more

Flying into Las Palmas, the GC1 (motorway) runs around the south of the island keeping the coastal roads East & West of our chosen base Maspalomas quiet. Staying at the South of the Island means depending on the direction of the prevailing wind, it’s easy to ride out or back with tail wind before or after attacking the Mountains! Oh… did I forget to mention it’s possible to ride from sea level to 1949m (Pico De Las Nieves) up beautiful volcanic valleys. The palm tree lined roads of the coastal towns soon disappear as you climb through red rock cactus lined canyons, stopping at the occasion ..read more
