Question: Can A Water Heater’s discharge line run uphill or no?
Answer: No. This particular discharge line runs uphill and is attached to galvanized pipe coming off of the side of the tank. Your water heater’s discharge line for the (T & P) temperature and pressure leaf valve should never run uphill.
