I don't game, but have 1 * 5k monitor, 1 * 4k monitor and 1 * 1080p monitor, I need all of them to run at 60Hz (Windows 11 pro)

Hello everyone, it has been a few years since I first set up my computer and I believe it is time to upgrade!

My main focus points are: More Storage, New Monitor, New GPU. (Do I need a new motherboard? ) A CPU instead?

2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming & light office work] (Games - SIM racing mainly with some FPS e.g. CoD) would like to be able to use PSVR2 also when it's enabled for PCVR later this year

'Thinking about upgrading from my 3060 ti build I got off pc specialist a few years ago . Be writing it off as a business expense . Just wondering is it worth the extra € to build around a 4090? And is pc specialist still the top option for pre built if i don't want to do it myself ..read more

I'm building a system at the moment and seem to be getting absolutely zilch after connecting everything up. PSU I've checked on another system but I've no way of checking the board or CPU. Is there anyone in the Dublin area with an intel 1200 socket system still on the bench (ideally) who wouldn't mind the faff of removing their CPU cooler and testing my CPU on their working board ..read more

Our house was finished in 2015 after having the windows and doors in since 06 - it was a ghost estate. The windows/ doors are double glazing and wooden.
There are some air gaps which you can feel depending on what way the wind is blowing. If you open some of the windows you can see cobwebs in the frames - signs of air getting in I believe.
It's a big issue as we have a heat pump and the house is not air tight, so we have massive electric bills.
A window company were out and they said nothing could be done with timber frame windows/doors in terms of adjustment. Do ye agree?
