Camera model Raspberry Pi Camera Module V2 What is the problem?
Unable to get camera in focus
What did you already try to solve it?
Multiple combinations of options in libcamera.conf, including the following:
OPTIONS='--camera-options="AfMode=2" --camera-options="AfRange=2"'
and also
OPTIONS='--camera-options="AfMode=0" --camera-options="LensPosition=5"'
Camera is placed 20 cm from print head, so LensPosition=5 should equate to 20 cm.
and many other combinations. Nothing seems to affect the focus.
Have you tried running in safe mode?
Yes
Did running in safe mode solve the problem?
No

Camera model
Raspberry PI Camera V3
What is the problem?
The raspberry pi camera v3 is available as
Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 / Standard 75°
Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 / wide angle 120°
My current v2 camera is located 20 cm away from the print bed. Would be nice if I could just swap it to the v3 camera.
Best Regards

Raspberry Pi Camera v3
What is the problem?
I need the new Stable OctoPi with New Camera Stack in order to use the Raspberry Pi camera v3. I used the Raspberry Pi Imager to load the new software to the SD card (with no advanced options) and then booted my Raspberry Pi 4 with that image. When I try to ssh into the Pi, the assumed default user name of pi and password of raspberry did not work. I then reimaged the card using the advanced options to assign a user name and password, but when I booted the second image, it did not recognize the user name and password I set in the Raspber ..read more

Hi there,
I have just a short and (I think) simple question.
I have installed OctoPi with the new camera stack and everything works fine, raspberry pi cam stream is visualized correctly in Octoprint webinterface.
By verifying the "Webcam & Timelapse" Settings in Octoprint I saw that ffmpeg is still used, is this the correct setup to use camera-streamer? (I was expecting some camera-streamer config and not still ffmpeg stuff):
Thank you!
