Licencing
The licencing of models determines what they can be used for, here are the most common ones:

Baked textures speed up rendering time. They also allow you to export the textures from Blender to other Software including game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine, which is necessary if you are making a game or selling 3D models.

is GPU compute not working in blender?
Using the Cycles Render Engine, there are two “Device” options. by default CPU is selected, but GPU is way faster on most computers, and is what you’re going to want 99% of the time.
To enable GPU compute, you must take the following steps to enable it:
