I've programed a great bank of patches on a Ex M1R. The EX has the extra 4 MBs of samples from the T series. So I wonder if the M1R bank would work on a T series synth by a SysEx bulk dump? I was not blown away by anything I saw in this video. And WHY do they always have someone playing jazz in these promo videos? I always ask the same when people are demoing Hammond organs. It is is always cheesy blues or gospel shite or something I am totally not interested in. I don't think that would come into play here. If it's only using USB to send and receive standard MIDI between itself and a host, the additional speed capacity of faster USB would be about as useful as a no-speed-limit autobahn is to someone riding bicycle. That's true. We should consider that after all USB is a 5V high speed serial protocol, it is quite susceptible to noise issues and this is the reason the cable length is limited. USB-C supports faster data transfer speeds than USB-B, which can be beneficial for sending and receiving large amounts of MIDI data. I don't think that would come into play here.
