Steps to take before replacing OEM GR1 tubeless tires?

Hello! getting ready to replace the slow GR1 with some Gravel King Slicks in sunset orange, this is my first tubeless bike and I have no idea what preparation is needed before I can mount the new tires on. as far as I know, the OEM set up got the rim strip instead of tape, do I need to remove the strip and completely clean off any sealant on the wheel and the strip? or I just need to do a wipe off and just need to make sure tim bead seat is clean and I am good to go? submitted by /u/ElonMust888 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Freshly cleaned with new wheels/tires

ALR5 AXS freshly washed after 2nd ride on these wheels and tires. A good friend gave me the wheels. Still have the GR1s on the factory wheels. Added these Bontrager R3s to the Mavic allroads I was given. Much faster than the GR1s and running at 55psi the ride is good. I had them set up so that there's no messing with any adjustments to the calipers when I swap them. Each time I ride this bike I discover something else I like about it! submitted by /u/Alternative_Craft_98 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Paradigm wheels convert to QR axle

Anyone ever convert their stock paradigm comp wheels from through axle to quick release? Upgraded to Aeolus 37v and want to use these on an older QR bike as they’d be an upgrade for that bike. Looks like I can just swap end caps for the rear wheel and possibly need an axle for the front wheel? Anyone done this? Thanks submitted by /u/redmosquito1983 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I know that sl6 can clear 50mm tires but I can’t find pictures of the clearance. Does anyone have photos of clearance for cinturato gravel H 700x50s or pathfinder pro 47s? submitted by /u/Organ_Farmer99 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
